One continent, five countries, the whole Andes.
In December 2027 one of the great Motonest adventures in South America begins: All Andes Wings. We start from Cartagena, Colombia, and cross the continent southwards along the spectacular chain of the Andes. The tour passes through some of the most impressive mountain regions of South America, to the final destination: Santiago de Chile. It is a journey built around the Andes — mountains, altitude, different cultures and roads that cross the continent from north to south. The route crosses thresholds of over 4,000 m again and again; the pace of the first days at altitude is set by the group, not by the kilometres. Two consecutive expeditions, put end to end, ride the whole spine of the Andes: from Cartagena on the Caribbean to the marker at Ushuaia where the road ends — this one, then Go South in February 2028.

From sea level to the three cordilleras. Coffee, permanent green and the best mountain roads in the north of the continent.

The Avenue of the Volcanoes: a natural highway flanked by cones of over five thousand metres, for three hundred kilometres.
- IIIPeru · cordillera and Incas
The most varied stage: desert coast, tropical ice in the Cordillera Blanca, deep canyons and the heart of the Inca empire.
- IVBolivia · altiplano
The high plateau, Lake Titicaca, La Paz in its crater and the largest salt flat in the world. Thin air and unfiltered light.

The descent through the driest desert on the planet, then the wine valleys and the finish in Santiago.

A fortified colonial city on the Caribbean, with eleven kilometres of walls and the most beautiful old centre in South America. Point zero of the expedition.

The city of eternal spring, in a narrow valley between two ridges. The most spectacular urban reinvention on the continent.
- 03The Cocora Valley and Salento
Sixty-metre wax palms — the tallest in the world — in the middle of the coffee region. Green upon green, at 2,400 metres.
- 04Santuario de Las Lajas
A neo-Gothic basilica built straight across a canyon, near the border with Ecuador. You see it from the road, suddenly, after a bend.

The second-highest capital in the world, at 2,850 m, with the best-preserved colonial centre in Latin America.

The corridor between the two cordilleras, dominated by the perfect cone of Cotopaxi — 5,897 m, one of the highest active volcanoes on the planet.

Red and green lagoons above 4,000 m, geysers, flamingos and high desert — the crossing to the Chilean border.

Valle de la Luna, the salt flat with flamingos and the clearest night sky on Earth. From here, the long road to Santiago.
