A pass in the Sierra de San Jorge near Loja, close to the border of Granada and Málaga provinces, once the main natural way between the two on the old royal road from Granada to Málaga. The Guadalhorce river rises here, among Aleppo pine, elm and maritime pine. The A-4152 is paved.
