Schedule

It all starts from Tarifa, the zero point of the journey, but also the southernmost point of Europe. The distance from Malaga, where the nearest airport is, to Tarifa, the place where the ferry to Morocco departs, is 130 km, but it is recommended that crossing the Strait of Gibraltar be done with one of the first ferries of the morning, in order to have enough time to cover the road from Tangier to Chefchauen, which is the first stop on the route.
Chefchauen is a Berber village, well known because of the houses that have the same color, blue, built on the slope of the mountain that guards Chefchauen to the East.

The next day we continue south, using the less traveled roads between Chefchauen and Fes. We chose a route away from the usual traffic on Moroccan roads, heading for a route with winding roads and beautiful views of the very wide valleys between the hills.
After about 230 km we will reach Fes, but I chose to visit the many historical sites on the outskirts of the city instead of the medina in the city center.

For today we will travel on a route full of winding roads even if the distance will increase by almost 100 kilometers and I can say that we will like it.
The landscapes we will pass through are for motorcyclists real music, so I could say that we will dance all the way to Midelt, which is at the foot of the Atlas mountains.

From the morning we will start climbing towards the passes of the Atlas Mountains passing through spectacular canyons and we will stop in a lot of places where you can take photos. The chosen road will take us to the gate of the Sahara Desert, to Merzouga.
It is a day dedicated entirely to adventure motorcycling, with many options for crossing the Atlas Mountains.

A day of contrasts, where the desert landscape suddenly changes to the mountain slopes and with the transition to higher altitudes, the air temperature will drop.
We head to Tinghir, the entrance to one of Morocco's most famous canyons, but also home to those old Moroccan villages that everyone wants to photograph.

If you take a look at the map, you will wonder how we will only do a little over 100 km in one day. Well the route is not in a straight line and there will be a day where we will go up and down the ridges of the mountains. At the end of the day we will reach Quarzazate where there are a lot of interesting places to visit.

We head to the famous Marrkesh, where we will spend the rest of the day. This time we will set off without motorbikes, to explore the famous Medina of Marrakesh.

It will be one of those days where the chosen routes will be a real spectacle, we will again cross the Atlas Mountains to the South and head towards the Atlantic coast towards Agadir.

With the Atlantic on our left, we will head towards the Strait of Gibraltar passing through Essaouira, one of Morocco's most beautiful coastal towns.

A day when we can choose whether to speed our way to the North and stop in the famous Casablanca, or use the side roads.

This is the last section of our journey and after crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Tarifa we will arrive back in Spain.

***Note: If a 14-day tour is chosen, from Day 8 the road continues over the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Tiznit, this option increases the travel time by another 3 days.
The above route can be changed depending on the conditions encountered during the tour but also according to the preferences of the participants.
Daily distances and waypoints can be changed based on daily progress made.

MENTION:

Morocco tours can be customized and the time slot can be adjusted to suit the days when there are flights for you.

However, during the summer due to temperatures over 35 degrees, in the months of July and August I do not organize such tours.

Routes can also be customized, Morocco being famous for its variety of road types.

We can explore for days on just off-road trails, but we’ll just as well find asphalt roads if that’s what we want. Basically Morocco is for anyone who loves adventure.

The time required for such a tour can also be adjusted, depending on the number of days you have available, and after a telephone discussion we can organize an adventure to your liking.

I leave my phone number here and please contact me on Whatssap for details.
