Dragon's Nest B&B

From riders

The Dragon's Nest Bed and Breakfast is an enchanting home built in 1912, with a 3rd floor added in 2006. It is located at 2200 Angus Street in the heart of downtown Regina in the Cathedral area. Where did the name come from? Chinese dragons were beloved mythical creatures in ancient folklore. They represent abundance, opportunities and good luck. It is said that if you reside, snuggled up against the belly of the dragon your protection is assured. Dragons are also symbols of human beings. Reptile like, we slink close to the ground and are mired in the mud of our animal nature and the muck of our cultural prejudices. Yet, like birds, we are also full of spirit, full of love, soaring in the heavens, transcending, at least for moments, our narrow-mindedness and fearful nature. All myths are about human nature, dragons are relatively simple. Our nature is so multifaceted and paradoxical.
